Required Education:

Bachelor's Degree


Required Experience:

2 years of work experience.

General proficiency in Office 365, including basic Excel skills for data management.

Strong verbal and written communication skills for internal and external relations.

Ability to understand complex verbal and written instructions.

Occasional travel to review marketing/build sites or events.

Experience in supporting daily operations and project management.


Preferred Experience:

Knowledge of construction/build operations and liaising with builders.


Position Overview:

The Dream Home Contractor provides junior-level support to the team, contributing to the national St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway program. This role involves assisting with operational processes, financial management, and training support to ensure the successful execution of the program. Supporting initiatives in assigned areas but capable of providing cross functional tasks associated with the position.


Job Details:

Operational Support: Assist in the operational processes of the Dream Home Giveaway program, including tracking construction progress, donation progress, and submitting dashboard reports to Dream Home personnel and territory stakeholders.

Builder Liaison: Help support the communication with active builders during various phases of home construction, ensuring smooth operations and tracking new and turnover markets.

Process Improvement: Understand and map processes, identify areas for streamlining to increase productivity and capacity. Create a central hub for workflows that can be done by an operations group, create operational resources for training purposes.

Financial Management: Aid in the development and completion of campaign budgets, process construction draws/advances and related invoices, maintain financial databases for monthly audits, and support program financial reporting.

Training Coordination: Develop curriculum, coordinate, and facilitate quarterly resource calls with current and new staff. Support the writing and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Policy Tech and coordinate immersive training experiences in the field.

Media Coordination: Plan and coordinate TV partner media visits, ensuring best-in-class on campus or virtual experiences for our media partners and provide them with content they can take back to their communities to impact revenue and continued program growth experiences for media partners. Main responsibilities will include escorting visitors and managing agenda items for the day.

Technology Utilization: Support the team in the research and implement new technologies and platforms to improve current processes and enhance the national program.

Ticketing System Management: Assist in setting up back-end services for Dream Home websites and Enterprise Dream Campaigns, ensuring seamless operation of ticket purchases for donors. Main duties will include helping to manage a ticketing system, inputting and maintaining data.

Donor Support: Develop and maintain accurate donor lists for outdoor signage, thank you plaques, acknowledgment letters, and other donor recognition pieces.
