The Gig:
I growing drayage company is on the hunt for a Business Development Manager with serious drayage game. Someone who knows how to hustle, already has connections at the ports, and can turn "just browsing" into "let's do business."
What You'll Actually Do:
- Be a sales superhero in drayage and logistics.
- Tell people how awesome our five LA-area warehouses are.
- Get out there-30 client visits a week (stretch your legs, close some deals).
- Work with our customer service and quotations squad (they're nice, we promise).
- Weekly updates because we like to know how you're winning.
- Daily office check-ins (for the first 3 months-we like face time, not FaceTime).
What We Need From You:
3-5+ years of logistics sales experience (drayage pros only).
You know people at the ports (your "book of business" isn't a coloring book).
Bonus points for freight forwarding & oversized cargo experience.
Excel wizardry. Salesforce? Even better.
People-person with a can-do attitude.
College degree is cool, but street smarts + hustle work too.
Schedule & Flexibility:
Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM onsite
Onsite for first 3 months; hybrid after you show us you're a rockstar.
