Job DescriptionEssential Responsibilities and Duties:- Create models, drawings, and bills of materials for mechanical and electrical systems using AutoCAD & Inventor (or similar).
- Utilize ERP system (SAP or similar) to create part numbers, item descriptions, and bill of materials.
- Collaborate with Engineers and the Production Team to create and review drawings.
- Communicate with team members regarding project scope and project status.
- Check drawings against standards and project requirements
- Complies with all Sensia and local procedures applicable to the job function including; Personnel, Quality System and Health, Safety, and Environmental
- Employees may be assigned other duties, in addition to, or in lieu of those described above, according to the needs of the location or Company
Previous Experience, Skills, and Competencies:- Education: Associate's degree in Drafting
- Experience: Three to five years experience working in AutoCAD, Inventor or SolidWorks or Creo or Solid Edge, and Microsoft Office
- Advanced knowledge of mechanical modeling, electrical modeling, GD&T (ASME Y14.5), and manufacturing processes
- Attention to detail & the ability to self-check work is a must
- Problem-solving experience
- Excellent team building, leadership, conflict resolution and negotiation skills
- An ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels of the organization with Production, Engineering, Purchasing, and Quality.
- Self-driven with the ability to proactively identify and mitigate risks
- Can function independently and in a team setting
- Strong decision-making skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
- Understanding of ERP software systems. Preferably SAP.
