AKRO Engineering & Design is seeking an experienced mid to senior level structural and building CAD/BIM technician to join our team of engineers and drafters. As a drafter you will lead in the creation of 2D and 3D models for complete buildings and structural projects.
Responsibilities
- Design and draft various types of structural and building-related projects using Revit and AutoCAD, including concrete, steel, wood and masonry projects.
- Prepare highly accurate construction drawings, including plans and detailed designs, that meet or exceed established standards and project timelines.
- Ensure deliverables reflect exceptional levels of detail, precision, and quality.
- Manage multiple tasks and projects efficiently to meet schedule deadlines while upholding superior work standards.
- Develop and maintain office drafting standards, drafting templates, and detail libraries to streamline workflows and ensure consistency.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on drafting experience with Revit and AutoCAD in structural or building-related projects. (Experience in Advanced Steel is a plus)
- Proficiency in Bluebeam and Microsoft Office products is highly desirable.
- Exceptional attention to detail, self-motivation, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with a deep understanding of building construction and construction drawings.
