We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative Residential Drafter to support our remodeling projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in drafting for residential renovations and remodels, with the ability to translate concepts into detailed plans and designs. This role involves collaborating with architects, designers, and construction teams to ensure that remodel projects are executed smoothly from concept to completion.
Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed drawings, plans, and layouts for residential remodeling projects using CAD software.
- Review architectural and engineering documents to prepare accurate revisions.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure designs meet building codes and client requirements.
- Update and modify plans based on client feedback and project changes.
- Maintain organized files and documentation for each project.
- Ensure all designs adhere to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in preparing presentations and proposals for clients.
Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Drafting, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in drafting for residential remodeling projects.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, high-quality drawings.
- Knowledge of building codes, construction methods, and material specifications.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
