Description DP Database Engineer Reports to: DP Team General Manager

SUMMARY The DP Database Engineer is responsible for maintenance and management of database of MES, MES Report and others, and for performing system process innovation and SQL tuning. This includes, but is not limited to, providing installation, upgrade, analysis and monitoring of system database. Will troubleshoot database problems in a timely and efficient manner.
RESPONSIBILITIES: - Management and maintenance for Database
- Performance tuning for MES/MES Report/SpotFire/MCS/RTD
- Performing and Monitoring for database, and Troubleshooting
- Performing Database Patch and Data Migration
- Management and Distribution of Documents DB related
- Provides Help Desk support to all MES users related to MES connectivity issues; diagnosing, testing, resolving and escalating.
- Monitoring and taking actions to resolve the issues about MES, MES Report and middleware
- Troubleshooting about MES, MES Report and middleware issues
- Deliver support and training to end users in the organization on the use of technology resources.
- Prepares and maintain the documentation about Databases changing points and issues
- Co-working with counterparts
- Adhere to the policies and procedures of Hanwha Q CELLS.
- Perform other duties and special projects, as assigned by management.
- Strong communication skills in English and Korean to be able to co-work with counterparts in Global/Asia Solutions team and also manage local vendors.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS - University or post graduate degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or computer related field.
- 1+ SQL experience with Oracle DB and MSSQL DB
- Able to tolerate a fast-paced work environment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - 1+ system experience about Semiconductor, Solar, LCD and related business
- 1+ field experiences
- 1+ Experience with Oracle Database and other Database Administrator
- 1+ Experience with Oracle Database and other Database Troubleshooting / SQL Tuning
- Experience with Oracle Database and other Database Technical Support DBA
- Experience with DB operation and conversion (Oracle other)
- Experience with Oracle/MS-SQL operation
- Experience with development by various languages
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Microsoft Windows operating systems
- Experience with DBMS/Middleware management and development
- Certification in related Databases and Programming languages
- Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
