Title: .NET / SQL Server Developer
Location: Richmond, VA/ Hybrid
Duration: 14+ Months
Candidate is able to work on-site 3 days a week in Richmond, Virginia
Job Description:
  • The .NET / SQL Server Developer provides services to end-users in planning, developing, deploying, and supporting software solutions using .NET, SQL Server, Visual Studio and other technologies.
  • Will be responsible for maintaining custom .NET applications.
  • Analyzes user needs and develops software solutions.
  • Designs software or customizes software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency.
  • May analyze and design databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team.
Skills:
  • Highly knowledgeable in C .NET development using Visual Studio
  • Knowledgeable in SQL Server Database development
  • Working knowledge of SQL Server Reporting Services
  • Demonstrated understanding of system development life cycle
  • Demonstrated ability in systems analysis, design, development and implementation
  • Development of complex system design, programming specifications and documentation (both user and systems)
  • Demonstrated ability to code in multiple languages
  • Demonstrated ability in execute multiple projects simultaneously
  • Communications skills to include communicating technological information to both technical and non-technical personnel both orally and in writing
  • Ability to provide hands-on software training to small groups and in developing training materials
  • Ability to diagnose and correct programming errors
  • Ability to work with other team members on design of software systems
  • Graduation from an accredited college or university with major course work in programming, systems analysis and design
  • Experienced in creating web pages using ASP.Net, C , Entity Framework and LINQ.
  • Understanding of Database normalization techniques and importance of indexes.
  • Working knowledge of .NET Core.
  • Working knowledge of ASP.Net MVC 4 and up.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps Server or other version control systems.
