We are looking for experienced .Net Software Developers to join our growing B2B FinTech business in Bristol.

You will be developing Broadridge's Fund Communication Solutions, a global digital platform that supports data, documents, and regulatory reporting needs for the investment industry.

Role Responsibilities

  • Maintain and extend .Net Web and Windows applications in a mature, fast-paced agile environment, creating innovative applications and services for the funds industry.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Adhere to good design practices, ensure standards are maintained through code reviews, and develop secure, robust, maintainable, scalable, and extendable applications.
  • Create wireframes and deliver high-quality software.
  • Assist in testing applications to ensure software quality and high standards of UI/UX design.
  • Collaborate as part of an agile (scrum) multi-functional development team.
  • Conduct operations support activities and troubleshooting to support business needs.
  • Work on multiple projects and technologies simultaneously.
  • Handle all aspects of implementation, including database, back-end logic, and UI.

Requirements

  • Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to work in a scrum team and participate in peer programming.
  • Knowledge of Design Patterns, SOLID principles, Inversion of Control, and RESTful Web Services.
  • Experience with MVC, WebAPI, .NET Core, HTML5, CSS3, Entity Framework, EF Core, and ASP.NET Web Forms.
  • Good command of English.
  • Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom.
  • Experience with TDD and writing unit tests.
  • Proficiency in writing, maintaining, and tuning SQL Server stored procedures.
  • Some knowledge of UX best practices.
  • Understanding of web security best practices.
