This position has design, development and maintenance responsibility for the software programs, databases and processes associated with our core business environments. This would include support for a broad range of applications such as research, investments, accounting and performance measurement, among others. The position provides exposure to many business units in a dynamic investment management firm. The role requires some direct interaction with end users and excellent analytical and communication skills.
Responsibilities -
- Work directly with the technology team responsible for the Charles River IMS (CRIMS) implementation
- Perform custom bi-direction integration between CRIMS and systems utilizing batch, real-time and web service integration
- Maintain, enhance, and develop new data feeds
- Participate in data analysis, quality checks and process controls
- Work collaboratively within IT and various business units across the firm
Qualifications -
- B.S. in computer science or equivalent
- Outstanding analytical and quantitative skills
- Charles River IMS experience (alternate OMS platform acceptable Eze Castle, LineData, Fidessa, Blackrock, etc)
- Solid knowledge of modern software design principles, concepts, and practices
- Strong database engineering skills on the MS SQL server platform
- Strong working knowledge of C and the .NET Framework
- Experience in financial services, equity & derivatives trading preferred
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Excellent teamwork and consensus building skills
