Location: Tampa, FL FL (Hybrid - minimum 3 days/week onsite at Ybor Data Center after a 2-week onsite trial) Duration: 9 Months Pay rate:- $55/hr - $60/hr. on W2
Contract to hire role.Job Description: - We are seeking a skilled .NET Developer (Systems Analyst) to join our Information Technology team, supporting Energy Supply Work and Asset Management applications.
- The successful candidate will work on custom .NET applications such as Facility Ratings and System Reliability, participating in full software development life cycle (SDLC) activities and providing ongoing production support.
Key Responsibilities - Develop and maintain custom .NET applications using C , .NET Core, and .NET Standard.
- Collaborate with senior developers to execute full SDLC activities, including analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
- Provide production support and troubleshoot issues in existing systems.
- Create and maintain RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Web API.
- Perform unit and functional testing to ensure high code quality.
- Use Git and Azure DevOps for version control, CI/CD, and code reviews.
- Work with internal teams and stakeholders to review and submit pull requests with complete documentation and code quality checks.
- Support third-party vendor applications and integrate them into existing systems.
- Participate in Agile/Kanban development processes.
- Ensure web applications are cross-browser compatible and responsive.
Required Experience - Proficiency in C , .NET 8, .NET Core, .NET Standard, and Visual Studio.
- Experience with WinForms and ASP.NET Web Forms.
- Strong knowledge of HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS2/3.
- Proficiency in T-SQL and database development with SQL Server.
- Experience building and consuming RESTful web services.
- Hands-on experience with Git and Azure DevOps for source control and release management.
- Ability to conduct technical and functional unit testing.
- Experience creating detailed pull requests including documentation, code coverage, and review processes.
- Good understanding of asynchronous programming and partial page updates.
- Experience in Agile/Kanban environments.
Preferred Experience - Experience with creating or modifying NuGet packages.
- Working knowledge of UML for system design and documentation.
- Prior experience supporting or integrating vendor applications.
