At Honeywell Solutions and Services, we run Energy Efficiency and Demand Response programs that help save energy for utilities and customers. You would be part of an Agile team that is responsible for developing our NextGen CRM/Work order management system that is used by us and our customers. You'll be involved in all stages of the software development lifecycle including gathering requirements, solution design, development, testing and deployment.
No relocation offered. Hybrid Work Schedule Note: For the first 90 days, New Hires must be prepared to work 100% onsite M-F.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop back-end code and webservice/API's using .Net
- Build quality software using tools such as JIRA, GIT, COPILOT
- Apply and promote high-quality engineering practices
- Provide relative estimates for the development effort, validate, and improve continuously
- Provide operational support of the solutions
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
- 2 years of experience developing software solutions in a comparable software stack.
- 2 years of experience working with .Net / C
- Experience working with Angular
- Experience working with Webservice/API Development

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent technology qualification
- Understanding various software development lifecycle
- Ability to understand both functional and non-functional requirements of a solution which are built for scale.
Good principles of software design and architecture
- Demonstrate the ability to develop efficient and high-quality software.
- Oracle/SQL Knowledge and understanding of relational database concepts
Solid understanding of web standards and architecture
- Knowledge of software configuration management and change management practices.
- Ability to consistently make timely decisions even in the face of complexity, balancing systematic analysis with decisiveness.
