Job Title: .NET Architect Location: Hybrid - Atlanta, GA or Addison, TX Employment Type: Contract (12-18 months) Pay Range: $65 - $68 per hour Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on .NET Architect to join a fast-paced Agile development team working on vehicle lending technology solutions. This role is ideal for a seasoned architect who brings both deep technical expertise and strong leadership capabilities to guide a team of 8-12 developers in designing and building enterprise-grade applications.
As a .NET Architect, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product owners, and business stakeholders, to deliver high-quality solutions. You will play a critical role in shaping architecture, mentoring team members, resolving technical challenges, and driving innovation across the platform.
Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and implement scalable, secure, and high-performing applications using .NET Core (version 6 or 8)
- Guide and mentor Agile team members on best practices, technical decisions, and architectural standards
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective solutions
- Provide hands-on support to developers and contribute directly to coding efforts when needed
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues throughout the software development lifecycle
- Ensure that software meets performance, quality, and security standards
- Drive continuous improvement in architecture and development processes
Required Qualifications: - 10+ years of overall programming experience in MS .NET technologies
- Minimum 7 years of experience working within Agile development environments
- Strong experience with .NET Core 6 or 8
- Proven experience as an Architect or Technical Lead on large-scale enterprise applications
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to mentor junior developers and foster a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration
Preferred Qualifications: - Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Experience with Kafka or other messaging/event streaming platforms
- Familiarity with Oracle databases
- Hands-on experience with Angular or other front-end frameworks
