Job Description
We are looking for a .NET Application Architect to join our team for a long-term contract opportunity that is onsite in Tallahassee, FL. The selected candidate will participate in the whole software development lifecycle from concept to implementation, troubleshoot and resolve issues, and provide guidance to other team members.
What You'll Do
Provide strategic design recommendations to optimize application performance, scalability, and integration across the enterprise
Develop and oversee enterprise-level .NET applications, focusing on custom integration solutions, major enhancements, and interfaces
Ensure seamless integration of applications at the enterprise level, leveraging your extensive experience in .NET full stack development
Develop programming architectures that enhance consistency, security, and performance across all applications
Ensure that all applications meet rigorous performance and security standards through the application of best practices
What You'll Need
Required:
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field or equivalent work experience.
A minimum of seven (7) years of .NET experience in multiple IT areas and two (2) or more years of relevant architecture experience
Experience providing design recommendations based on long-term IT organization strategy
Experience developing .NET enterprise level application and custom integration solutions including major enhancements and interfaces, functions and features
Experience providing expertise regarding integration of applications on an enterprise-wide level
Experience developing programming and development standards and procedures as well as programming architectures for .NET code reuse
Experience in state-of-the art programming languages and object-oriented approaches in designing, coding, testing and debugging programs
Experience in researching and maintaining knowledge of emerging technologies and possible applications for enterprise-wide use
Experience as a .NET full stack developer
Experience ensuring application performance and security standards through best practices
Highly proficient in both spoken and written English.
