We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Domestic Sales Representative to join our dynamic team in the fast-paced world of over the road transportation. This role is responsible for generating new business, managing client relationships, and providing transportation solutions across the U.S. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a deep understanding of domestic freight logistics and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with shippers, manufacturers, and distributors in need of freight services.
- Prospect and onboard new clients through cold calling, networking, referrals, and lead generation strategies.
- Understand customer shipping needs and offer tailored truckload (FTL), less-than-truckload (LTL), and other logistics solutions.
- Negotiate rates and terms with clients to secure long-term partnerships.
- Meet or exceed sales goals and KPIs related to revenue, margins, and client growth.
- Provide excellent customer service and resolve issues with professionalism and urgency.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activity.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in freight brokerage, logistics, or transportation sales.
- Strong knowledge of domestic trucking and freight industry.
- Proven track record of sales success and building lasting client relationships.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Familiarity with TMS platforms is a plus.
