Required Skills and Experience
- Must hold an Associate's degree+ DOD Cyber Workforce Framework OR a Bachelor's degree
- Must be comfortable and willing to satisfy DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) certifications: Intermediate GSEC, CASP+, CND, CySA+, CCNA
Advanced CISM, CISSP, CASP+, CISA, CCISO, CCNP Security, GLSC
- Experience with cloud-native architectures, microservices, and containerization (Kubernetes, Docker).
- Expertise in cloud migration strategies.
- Experience with tools like Fortify, Nessus, and SonarQube.
- Proficient in using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Ansible.

Job Description
A federal client of Insight Global is seeking a Cloud Engineer to support cloud migration and refactoring efforts, design and optimize AWS cloud-native environments, and maintain DevSecOps pipelines. The role involves deploying cloud infrastructure with a focus on Kubernetes and Docker, developing application migration strategies, refactoring Legacy applications, and ensuring compliance with USTRANSCOM's objectives. The engineer will also design CI/CD pipelines, perform load testing, and maintain technical documentation.
This is a mostly remote role, requiring the individual to come onsite once per quarter to Scott AFB. This role has a compensation range not limited to $40/hr to $65/hr depending on skillset and experience.
