Documentation Specialist
Company that supports the medical field is looking for a Supporting Documentation Specialist.
Supporting documentation specialist main responsibilities include creating, updating and maintaining supporting documentations on new and existing products, and knowledgebase documentation. Participate as a member of product management and manufacturing teams. This is to ensure that the company?s production department has the proper supporting documentation for traceability on updates such as, revisions, corrections, and changes in previously published work instructions. This person has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices and procedures surrounding documentation requirements.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manufacturing Work Instruction creation for all the El Paso sites.
- Initiate Document Change Notice.
- Update and maintain product supporting documents known as Manufacturing Work Instructions and Document Change Notice.
- Organize documentation for easy accessibility, retrieval, and version control
- Ensure technical documentation meets quality system requirements.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by preparing documentation that is useful, accurate, and user friendly.
- Prepare and completing work adhering to project goals and schedules.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Ensure and update that Manufacturing Aids/Fixtures and Tools match with existing and new Manufacturing Work Instructions.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Basic knowledge of Photo shop.
- Proven ability to communicate clearly and professionally in verbal and written formats with both internal and external customers.
- Strong ability to write clear, concise documents on deadline.
- Ability to simultaneously work on different documentation modules and products in a fast paced development environment, with minimum supervision.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Familiarity of quality system requirements.
- Ability to be self-motivated and to effectively manage and prioritize multiple projects/tasks.
Schedule: 7:00am-3:30pm.
Monday-Friday and willing to work OT if needed.
Pay rate: $18.00 an hour.
Position could become full time with the company.
