As a Document Production Clerk, you will ensure the accuracy and confidentiality of legal documents while providing essential support for various administrative tasks. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with legal professionals and contribute to the firm's success.
Key Responsibilities - Utilize high-speed copy, scanning, and binding equipment to produce precise legal documents and materials.
- Maintain quality control and confidentiality for all printed and scanned documents.
- Assist with document assembly, indexing, and filing to support the legal teams effectively.
- Provide support for mail distribution, package management, and coordination of courier services.
- Keep the copy center organized and ensure all equipment is operational.
- Troubleshoot minor issues with printers and copiers and request maintenance when necessary.
- Facilitate scanning and digital archiving of case files and important records.
- Work collaboratively with attorneys, paralegals, and administrative staff to fulfill document needs efficiently.
- Carry out additional administrative and office support tasks as required.
Qualifications & Requirements - Preferred prior experience in a document production center, print shop, office services, or legal environment.
- Familiarity with high-speed copiers, scanners, and document management systems is advantageous.
- Demonstrated attention to detail with the ability to thrive in a rapid-paced setting.
- Capacity to handle sensitive and confidential information with utmost discretion.
- Basic troubleshooting skills for printers and copying equipment.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
