We are seeking a highly skilled Journeyman Document Management Specialist to join our IT team in support of a client at Hill AFB. The Journeyman Document Management Specialist will be responsible for developing policies, procedures, and best practices related to document management, including classification, retrieval, and access control. Additionally, the Journeyman Document Management Specialist will be responsible for tracking, managing, and optimizing IT assets and software from procurement to disposal, ensuring compliance with licensing agreements and minimizing costs. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Engineering document assembly, change control, and Document Control Library archival

• Maintenance and continuous improvement of the Change Control process

• Assists in the building of documents for regulatory submissions, as well as interfaces with customers as needed

• Daily interaction and documentation & compliance support to internal & external engineering, research & development, manufacturing operations, materials management, program management, and qualified individuals and groups

• Develop and implement IT asset management (ITAM) policies, procedures, and standards

• Manage the entire lifecycle of IT assets, from procurement to disposal, including planning, acquisition, deployment, maintenance, and retirement

• Track and maintain accurate records of all IT assets (hardware, software, licenses, cloud subscriptions, etc.) within the organization's asset management system

• Ensure compliance with software license agreements and usage rights

• Manage the disposal of IT assets in a secure and environmentally responsible manner

• Maintain a comprehensive and up-to-date inventory of all IT assets, including location, ownership, configuration, and status

• Utilize automated discovery tools and manual processes to identify and track IT assets.

• Manage software licenses to optimize usage, minimize costs, and ensure compliance

• Develop and maintain reports on IT asset inventory, utilization, and costs

• Provide regular updates to management on the status of IT assets. Education, Certification & Experience Requirements
Education Required:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field or equivalent experience

• Minimum 2-4 years of experience with document control

• Active Secret security clearance
