Your Role on the Team Position Summary: The Document Control Program Manager is responsible to administer and maintain document control, integrity and organization of all UCI Health construction related documents and managing an in-house Record Management Program through development or acquisition of a document management program or software. The role requires establishing a workflow to ensure all projects have proper record drawings and serve as the point of contact for acquiring and distributing documents needed by project managers, consultants, and staff. The incumbent will be responsible to ensure documents are accurate and up to date, manage document revisions, the organization of all turnover documents, and ensure compliance with the University of California Office of the President retention policies and procedures and applicable laws. Additional duties include assigning building ID numbers and conducting plan review to ensure identified spaces match UCI Health naming (and numbering) conventions.

Required Qualifications: - Three (3) to five (5) years of relevant experience
- Strong ability to analyze and solve complex problems pertaining to records management methods and procedures
- Must possess the skill, knowledge, and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
- Must demonstrate excellent customer service skills appropriate to the job.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Detail oriented
- Considerable knowledge of creating and maintaining databases
- Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.
- Advanced organizational, planning and project management skills
- Advanced knowledge of current archival and records management principles and practices
- Advanced knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Bluebeam
- Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and GIS systems and programs.
- Advanced experience with automated storage and retrieval systems, electronic records and database design/management
- Ability to persuade or influence people to take appropriate action.
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage a complex workload in an environment with changing priorities.
- Ability to apply sound judgment in ambiguous situations and effectively manage change
Preferred Qualifications: - Basic knowledge of all relevant laws/regulations/codes
- Basic knowledge of UCOP record retention policies and procedures.
