Job Summary

Our client is seeking a dedicated Document Control Clerk. The primary responsibility of this role involves performing routine office or clerical support tasks in accordance with well-established company procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Retrieve documents from storage and various areas, scan and archive on a computer system, ensuring scanned documents' accuracy.
  • Schedule pickup of documents from offsite storage by request for internal customers.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Document Control library.
  • Maintain all logs internally and from outside storage facilities successfully.
  • Manage the outside document destruction process.
  • Ensure the accuracy of scanned documents with continual attention to detail, good documentation practices, and meeting deadlines.
  • Route documents in the document control system as a backup to the document control coordinator.
  • Assist with internal and external audits.
  • Follow SOPs, policies, and FDA Good Documentation Practices effectively.
  • Provide support for the Quality Systems and Regulatory departments during internal and external audits and actively participate in department activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Experience working with Quality System or technical documentation systems, preferably in an FDA-regulated environment.
  • Working knowledge of ISO and FDA document management guidelines, regulations, and standards.
  • Outstanding attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with others in a positive and collaborative manner.
  • Demonstrated ability to work accurately, follow instructions/schedules/timelines, and handle multiple priorities.
