Position: Docket and Conflicts Clerk



Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Docket and Conflicts Clerk to join their team.



This position is responsible for managing the Firm's accounts receivable collections and supporting the docket and conflicts functions to ensure operational efficiency and compliance. The role includes monitoring daily revenue production, initiating collection strategies, processing litigation mail and calendar deadlines, and performing conflicts checks. This individual plays a key role in supporting financial operations, legal compliance, and internal reporting.



Responsibilities:




  • Monitor and manage the Firm's accounts receivable portfolio.
  • Collaborate with CFO/Controller and Partners to report on performance and align collection strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with FDCPA, Texas collection laws, and other applicable regulations.
  • Support and guide Partners with skip tracing, payment negotiations, and legal compliance.
  • Process and classify all litigation-related mail and correspondence.
  • Calendar critical court deadlines in accordance with jurisdictional rules.
  • Conduct conflicts checks for all new client/matter openings.
  • Ensure all docket and conflict functions follow Firm policies and procedures.

    Required Qualifications & Experience:




    • Bachelor's degree required.
    • 3-5 years of law firm experience in collections;
    • Strong knowledge of FDCPA, Texas collection law, and litigation processes.
    • Familiarity with docketing and conflicts systems, court rules, and calendaring tools.
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
    • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.

      Nice to Have Skills & Experience:




      • ARCS experience preferred.
      • Ability to interpret financial data and generate reports.
      • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with attorneys, staff, and clients at all levels.
