Job Description/Responsibilities:
Act as first point of contact for outbound carriers responsible for opening the order association process and coordinating with Logistics Team and Shipping lead to assign dock doors and manage traffic into facility for third party carriers.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Communicates with incoming drivers to receive shipment information
- Communicates that information via spreadsheet and/or radio to Logistics Analyst team and Shipping Leads
- Clearly communicates door assignment to drivers
• Manages gate access and maintains traffic flow integrity - Tracks and reports in times associated to load and door assignment
- Always Maintains a First Point of contact work area in presentable order
- Works well with little/no supervision
- Organizational Skills
- Working knowledge and experience in Microsoft office
- Strong Communication skills
- WMS Experience Specifically Oracle, NetSuite, or SAP
- Routing or Scheduling Experience preferred
- Collaboration Skills
