Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the development and implementation of market plan (includes market coverage).
  • Responsible for continuous improvement of market tools to improve promotional plans and market segments.
  • Collaborates with field sales/sales companies on marketing tools and analysis.
  • Identifies new product development projects.
  • Responsible for the development and implementation of a strategy to grow key market segments.
  • Creates growth plans for key regions and markets; Develops global customer partnerships.
  • Directs and recommends acquisitions and strategic investments for growth.
  • Responsible for the creation and distribution of high-quality marketing and sales promotion material to support Division products in Europe.
  • Responsible for developing and implementing a communications strategy that is consistent with the Division's business plans and the overall Group and Corporate goals.
  • Responsible for continuous improvement of market tools to improve promotional plans and market segments.
  • Responsible for leading or providing support for aspects of customer service including post-order customer service, technical support, inside sales, service & repair, and technical training.
  • Responsible for collecting, analyzing and evaluating data on products, costs and markets to support development and presentation of appropriate price and bid strategy.
  • Responsible for the sales company or division quote cell.
  • Monitors and optimizes pricing strategy through process control and variance analysis.
Qualifications

Requirements
  • A Bachelor Degree (or international equivalent) is required - the ideal candidate has studied Business or Economics, or related areas of study; an MBA would be a plus.
  • 10+ years of experience in Marketing, Business Development, Sales, Pricing, Customer Service and/or Product Management.
  • 5+ years of experience in a leadership and/or management role.
  • Experience in a Manufacturing environment specifically in Life Science, Medical Device, and/or Analytical Lab Products.
  • Possess analytical and technical skills required to understand business practices and recommend proper opportunities.
