Location: Berrien Springs, MI (Fully Onsite) with Occasional Travel to Lansing
Salary: $85,000 - $95,000
Key Responsibilities: - Strategic Budget Leadership: Drive financial stability by managing and optimizing budgets across divisions, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently.
- Expenditure Oversight & Fiscal Integrity: Lead the budget process, maintaining tight controls on spending while identifying opportunities for cost savings.
- Procurement & Purchasing Governance: Oversee purchasing operations, enforce spending limits, and ensure approvals align with financial policies.
- Regulatory & Compliance Excellence: Manage competitive bidding processes, guaranteeing compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Financial Insights & Decision Support: Deliver clear, data-driven financial reports and analysis to leadership, empowering strategic decision-making.
Requirements: - Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: Strong background in job costing and/or governmental accounting.
- Expertise: Deep understanding of budget management, procurement processes, and financial compliance.
- Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
- Flexibility: Willingness to travel occasionally to Lansing as needed.
