Education
  • Associate's Degree or higher in Information Technology field or a minimum of two years of hands-on experience in information technology preferred
  • Technology Industry Certifications beneficial but not required
Qualifications
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
  • Knowledge of or experience with network infrastructure components installation, configuration, and management such as Cisco switches and Cisco Meraki Wi-Fi Access Points and firewall
  • Knowledge of or experience with VOIP telephony

Responsibilities
  • Provide support for desktop operating systems (including Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X and Google Chrome), mobile operating systems, and desktop applications such as the various MS Office applications
  • Provide support for internet applications (including Firefox, IE Explorer, Chrome & Safari)
  • Connect a PC/MAC to a network and ability to verify network connectivity
  • Contact software and hardware vendors for tech support and warranty assistance when necessary
  • Assist teachers with the implementation of adopted district software
  • Prepare Chromebooks for deployment, manage, troubleshoot and repair Chromebooks as needed
  • Install, configure, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain MAC & PC-compatible computers, peripherals and associated hardware and software installations
  • Monitor, respond to, and escalate tickets in the help desk system to provide daily technical support to faculty, staff and students, and analyze and report on Help Desk performance.
  • Maintain, support, and deploy all student and faculty/staff related technology equipment. Equipment may include, but is not limited to: laptop and desktop computers, printers, Apple TVs, iPads, interactive flat panels, document cameras, scanners, copiers, projectors, televisions, digital signage monitors, media players, and mobile devices.
  • Image/reimage laptops and desktops including transferring data from previous devices and installing additional software and settings as needed.
  • Keep Technology Department storage and work areas orderly and secure.
  • Operates and trains staff on proper operation of the digital mixing consoles and portable speakers within the performance venues. When necessary, operates lighting control boards with lighting equipment, audio-visual equipment
  • Install, configure, and maintain audio-visual equipment including projectors, microphones, speakers, and video conferencing systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to audio and visual systems
  • Provide technical support during events or presentations as needed.
  • Other duties and community involvement as required.
