Summary

As a District Manager with EasyCare, an APCO Holdings brand, you will generate revenue growth by utilizing a consultative selling approach in the retention of current APCO accounts. Our District Managers nurture existing business relationships to achieve budgeted sales goals by developing and implementing sound retention strategies, utilizing strong negotiation efforts to preserve business and securing contracts, and maintaining healthy relationships.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Primary account management of dealerships & developing markets
  • Work with other APCO/Easycare Managers to support larger dealerships and dealership groups

Developing performance (75%):

  • Operate in Finance and Insurance and Sales Department Automotive retail role effectively
  • Effectively demonstrate the highly regarded APCO F&I process
  • EasyCare Performance Opportunity Analysis (EasyCare Way)- compiling, preparing, delivering and following through on agreed upon action plan
  • Complete knowledge and adherence to dealership and industry compliance, and observance of unique dealership guidelines
  • Establish and prepare dealership performance development plans
  • Present proposed action plans to executive managers and business owners
  • Prepare and conduct One/One "in dealership" training
  • Prepare and conduct group training to dealer partners
  • Conduct competency testing with dealership personnel
  • Motor Trend implementation and training
  • Dealership performance monitoring
  • Business owner relationship building skills
  • Knowledge and effectiveness with all APCO product benefits and assets

New Opportunities (25%):

  • Effectively secure referrals and network
  • Develop new dealer relationships that are a win-win
  • Document required activity in Hubspot

Education and Experience

  • Prior experience or are currently working in automotive sales management or automotive finance management
  • Prior experience or are currently working in an automotive vendor setting
  • Prior experience or are currently working in automotive sales and finance training
  • Prior experience or are currently working in automotive advertising or banking
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; High School diploma or GED required

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to type and look at a computer screen. This is an in-person sales position, requiring regular driving and appearance in varying professional settings, such as automotive dealerships.
