About the Role: You'll operate as the District Sales Manager for the Greater Atlanta area, where you'll develop sales and build lasting relationships within the oil & gas and chemical sectors. You'll be at the forefront of promoting our range of flow control including valves, actuators and pump products, engaging with engineering firms, OEMs, owners, and mechanical contractors, while supporting our local distributor partners.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the expansion of the company's presence in the assigned region through new business hunting
- Develop and maintain expert-level knowledge of our products to effectively present to customers
- Identify key engineering accounts, schedule presentations, and convert specifications to drive sales
- Analyse sales statistics and market needs to develop targeted sales campaigns
- Resolve client concerns and schedule regular visits to maintain strong customer relationships
- Actively follow up on new leads and referrals to expand our customer base
- Conduct sales activities by visiting engineering firms, distributor partners, OEMs, and end-user customers
- Use for sales activity tracking and business reporting
- Manage and develop distributor partners, establish sales goals, and provide training
- Ensure customers have the necessary marketing materials, including samples and brochures
- Stay informed about competitor activities in the region
- Liaise with customer service, technical service, engineering, and other departments to maximise sales and service performance
- Attend and assist with industry-related events such as tradeshows and association events
Qualifications:
- A minimum of five years technical experience with flow control technologies (pumps, valves & actuators)
- Proven ability to interact effectively with engineers, contractors, owners, and distributors to build long-term relationships
- Above-average mechanical skills and confident selling technical solutions to customers
- Experience managing sales budgets and achieving monthly sales goals
- Engineering bachelor's degree preferred but not essential
- Valid driver's license
- Willingness to travel up to three weeks of the month within the Greater Houston area and one week of the in the surrounding states (Gulf Coast area)
Salary:
Up to $110,000 + Commission (capped at 100% of basic salary) + Fringe Benefits Package
