The
Clean Harbors District Sales Manager plays a crucial role in driving growth, expanding customer relationships, and achieving sales targets within the assigned district. You will oversee a team of Account Managers, Project Service Specialists, and Clean Pack Specialists, ensuring they are equipped to succeed.

- Recruit, train, lead, and mentor outside sales representatives to set account strategies, create sales plans, develop proposals, negotiate contracts, and manage key customer accounts.
- Establish and manage sales territories effectively.
- Regularly present district sales results, forecasts, and strategies to district and regional leaders.
- Utilize local business insights to align sales and marketing plans with regional strategies.
- Oversee the business portfolio to maximize revenue opportunities within your territory.
- Ensure the sales team meets established key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Develop effective targeting tools and customer campaigns.
- Collaborate with district operations leaders to guarantee the execution of sales plans.
- Enhance the SalesForce skills of the district sales team.
- Work with district operations to create and conduct sales training sessions.
- This role requires 30% travel.
Qualifications: - 7+ years of outside sales experience.
- 5+ years of experience in managing teams.
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience required.
- Strong business acumen, including skills in budgeting and forecasting.
- In-depth knowledge of the environmental services industry.
- Demonstrated success in account management and business development.
- Experience using SalesForce or similar CRM tools for customer management, territory planning, and sales tracking.
- Exceptional customer relationship management and negotiation skills.
- Proven training and presentation capabilities.
- Experience in hiring, developing, and managing employees.
- Strong technical skills in Microsoft Office.
- Effective conflict resolution and dispute management abilities.
- Persuasive communication skills, both written and oral.
- Motivational and team-building aptitude.
- Ability to set clear objectives and metrics for performance.
- Strong judgment and decision-making capabilities.
