Clean Harbors is seeking a District Project Manager to join our team for the Stockton, CA market. The District Project Manager will oversee and coordinate strategies to improve key customer satisfaction and retention. An additional focus will be to maintain key vendor relationships that further the support of key customers. Join a team with a focus on safely executing large technical transportation and disposal projects across the country. Work with a customer base across several business lines, including regulatory, government, and military. Collaborate with other industry professionals across our Sales, Landfill, Transportation, TSDF, and local office network leveraging the company's turnkey approach to projects and customer service. Lead teams comprised of superintendents, foreman, equipment operators, and other professionals. Travel to new locations to meet customers and field personnel and see projects in action. Work with the support from administrators, senior managers, and other support personnel and teams. Location: Stockton, CA Pay Range: $125,000-150,000 + Operations Bonus Program K w/match + additional annual reimbursement for maintaining certain professional licenses+ paid training+ tuition reimbursement Travel: Will be required as needed around the region; as well as around the US at other times Why work for Clean Harbors? Key Responsibilities: Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times; Develop and implement strategies to improve customer relationships, satisfaction, and retention; Work closely with the sales, marketing, and operations teams to identify new business opportunities and develop programs that will help to increase customer loyalty; Work with other departments to ensure that customer feedback is incorporated into product development and services; Monitor customer satisfaction levels and develop plans to address any issues and opportunities for improvement; Develop and manage budgets for customer growth and relationship programs; Provide regular reports to senior management on the status of customer growth and relationship programs; Guide proposal and bidding strategies and direction to improve win percentages and execution feasibility; Travel to visit customers, project sites, and crews throughout the country, as needed; Provide guidance to operational teams executing projects to support and improve the outcome of the project. Understand the overall profitability of projects and assist with implementing corrective actions when necessary; Maintain key and critical vendor relationships, specifically those where we have a beneficial reciprocal relationship; Performs other duties and tasks assigned from time to time by management and will be required by the needs of the Clean Harbors business. What does it take to work for Clean Harbors? Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Sciences or related field required; Professional licenses preferred PG or PE etc,; 10+ years' demonstrated Project Management, customer relationship management or a related field; Excellent communication, organizational and problem-solving skills; Strong customer management skills; Ability to travel as needed; Valid Driver's License and clean MVR required.
