Dispatcher/Customer Service Representative

You are a customer service professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at multitasking, communicates clearly, and takes pride in being organized, detail-oriented, and dependable. Prior experience in the elevator industry is a plus.

Location: Oakland (On Site Full Time -TEMP ASSIGNMENT 2 MONTHS)
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:15 AM - 3:45 PM

This Position Pays: $26-$30/hr

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Answer and dispatch incoming calls professionally and promptly and with compassion.
  • Manage and support main officers and email various direct messages to the appropriate team members.
  • Process Preliminary Orders and State Compliance paperwork.
  • Log service, after-hours, and missed activity calls.
  • Coordinate Field Request surveys with ownership.
  • Assist with payroll by verifying timesheet accuracy.
  • Prepare and manage Service Contracts and Repair Proposals.
  • Oversee contract lifecycle: entry, follow-up, updates, and cancellations.
  • Keep customer database and filing system up to date.
  • Accept, verify, and unload deliveries (forklift training provided).

What You Bring:

  • 4+ years of office experience, including call dispatching.
  • Must have compassion and excellent listening and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (intermediate level).
  • Excellent follow-up and communication skills (verbal & written).
  • Detail-focused, organized, and reliable.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Able to meet deadlines and adapt to change with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Positive team player who takes initiative and seeks continuous improvement.
