POSITION SUMMARY
The Dispatcher Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and managing the daily street sweeping and service routes to ensure on-time performance and operational efficiency. This role requires effective communication with drivers, field crews, and customers to guarantee smooth operations. The Dispatcher Coordinator will monitor and adjust schedules in real-time, responding to traffic, weather, and unexpected job changes. Additionally, this position involves tracking service calls, job completions, and addressing any operational challenges. The role requires optimizing routes to minimize fuel costs and ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and DOT guidelines.

OBJECTIVES
-Schedule and coordinate daily street sweeping and service routes to ensure timely and efficient performance.
-Maintain clear and effective communication with drivers, field crews, and customers to ensure smooth operations.
-Monitor and adjust schedules in real-time to accommodate changes such as traffic, weather, or last-minute job additions.
-Track, document, and report service calls, job completions, and operational challenges for continuous improvement.
-Optimize routes to reduce fuel costs and enhance operational efficiency.
-Ensure full compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and DOT guidelines.
-Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills to address and resolve unexpected challenges, ensuring uninterrupted service.
COMPETENCIES
-Ability to efficiently schedule and coordinate daily street sweeping and service routes to ensure operations run smoothly and on time.
-Strong communication skills to effectively relay information between drivers, field crews, and customers, ensuring seamless coordination.
-Adaptability to monitor and adjust schedules in response to real-time changes such as traffic conditions, weather disruptions, or urgent job requests.
-Attention to detail in tracking, documenting, and reporting service calls, job completions, and operational challenges to support continuous improvement.
-Analytical thinking to optimize routes for cost efficiency, fuel savings, and overall operational effectiveness.
-Knowledge of and commitment to maintaining compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and DOT guidelines.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Experience in Dispatch, Logistics, or Customer Support
- Experience in the construction or service industry is a PLUS
- Bilingual (English/Spanish): A valuable asset.
