About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director to join our clients established Valuation team in Birmingham. As a key player in this company's Valuation division, you will be responsible for processing valuation instructions and driving business development across the region. You will be expected to operate with flexibility and independence while enjoying the support of a collaborative team. Key Responsibilities:
Valuation Instructions: Take responsibility for processing and overseeing valuation instructions within the region, offering expert advice and guidance to clients throughout the process.
Client Relationship Management: Act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality and accurate valuation reports that meet professional standards.
Business Development: Utilize both established and new relationships to identify business opportunities, expand the client base, and build a strong portfolio.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with team members, sharing knowledge and insights, improving service delivery, and continuously working to refine internal processes.
Representation: Represent the full spectrum of property services to clients, acting as a key ambassador for the company's offerings and values.
Market Knowledge: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders in the local property market, staying up to date with trends and developments to anticipate client needs.
Additional Duties: Undertake other responsibilities as required, in keeping with the seniority of the role.
Key Skills & Experience:
Technical Skills:
Proven expertise in commercial property valuation, particularly for loan security and balance sheet purposes.
Strong background in commercial property valuations and appraisals, with proficiency in Argus (or similar valuation software).
Exceptional written English, with the ability to produce precise, high-quality valuation reports.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and other relevant software.
Customer Focus:
Deep understanding of client needs and requirements, with the ability to foster strong relationships.
Ability to build trust and credibility with clients, ensuring the delivery of excellent service.
Proactively seeks feedback and keeps abreast of market trends to anticipate client requirements.

A confident and capable presenter, able to communicate both technical and business matters clearly and persuasively.
Strong oral communication skills, demonstrating the ability to influence and engage others.
