Director Risk Operations

Direct financial risk operations and loss analysis for primary corporation and eight affiliated corporations that own and operate nine (9) luxury used automobile dealerships in the Atlanta metropolitan area; Direct and oversee risk management and financial departments and ensure their compliance with applicable financial regulations; Ensure proper and timely reporting of operational risk violations to applicable regulatory authorities; Develop and implement standardized risk analysis compliance procedures for all nine (9) dealerships; Act as liaison with outside the corporate legal counsel as needed to identify and resolve risk compliance legal issues; Collaborate with other departments (internal audit, sales, service, parts and body shop) to process risk compliance issues through appropriate channels for investigation and resolution; Identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and prepare quarterly risk management operation recommendation reports that address vulnerabilities to company executives for their review; Ensure that each dealership operates in compliance with applicable financial regulations; Develop and direct standardized policies and procedures for compliance program operation in order to curtail illegal, unethical, or improper conduct; Develop and implement corrective risk operation protocols as needed; Serve as point of contact with partner financial institutions to address and resolve any financial issues that arise; Ensure standardized coordination of the yearly external audit for all nine affiliated corporate entities; Direct the external audit management letter implementation process; Direct the annual corporate audit-compliance report process.
Four (4) years of previous employment as a Director, Risk Operations or as a Director, Risk Management in the automotive sales industry.
