ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Director, Proposal Execution to join our team in Herndon, VA. This is a hybrid position with onsite requirements for classified proposal management and collaboration at Herndon and surrounding facilities. ManTech's Proposal Operations Hub is a centralized, enterprise-wide talent-base responsible for designing, evolving, managing, and executing ManTech's proposal best practices across the entire business development lifecycle. The Director of Proposal Execution will be responsible for strategically managing proposal staff and resources to optimize proposal outcomes. This includes executing enterprise-wide processes, systems, and activities related to proposal execution and knowledge management. The Director will ensure proposal managers proactively drive the proposal development process through collaboration with Capture Managers, proposal development staff, and other key stakeholders. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Lead and mentor proposal team: Assign support to foster collaboration and high performance.
Oversee proposal activities and resourcing: Ensure timely, high-quality submissions.
Enhance proposal content and strategy: Develop strengths and themes to increase win rates.
Manage workload and resolve resource conflicts: Maintain a balanced and productive team.
Track pursuits and plan resources: Stay informed to meet strategic objectives.
Collaborate on personnel management: Coordinate training, compensation, and hiring.
Report proposal status and ensure quality: Present to management and lead reviews for strategic alignment. Minimum Qualifications: 10 or more years of experience as a proposal director or manager/project/resource/control account/HR manager
5 years experience in leading a team and resources in an uncertain, dynamic, and fluid operational environment
Experience working for a large federal services integrator
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, including with C-Level executives
Strategic thinking for efficient negotiating, delegating, and resource assignment
Proficiency in human resource, project, and proposal management
Preferred Qualifications Ability to prioritize and manage people and multiple tasks efficiently
Experience in cross-functional team management
Strong analytical, critical thinking, interpersonal, and people skills
Flexibility and good decision-making skills
Ability to encourage cooperative working relationships
Shipley Training and/or Certification(s)
APMP Certification
Active Top Secret Clearance Security Requirements: US Citizen
Physical Requirements Must be able to communicate effectively in-person and remotely
Must be able to operate a computer and other IT peripherals
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
