Employment Type: Full time Shift: Day Shift Description: Role Overview: Lead the development, assessment, and administration of compensation models for Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG), ensuring clear documentation and timely administration. Key Responsibilities: + Design and manage compensation plans for primary care, specialists, and advanced-practice providers. + Collaborate with SAMG Executive Medical Directors to ensure compensation plans meet FMV standards. + Support Trinity West Region CEO and Saint Alphonsus Hospital Presidents. + Develop, negotiate, implement, and monitor physician contracts. + Track and renew contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. + Work with finance, legal services, and third-party consultants. Team Leadership: + Lead the SAMG Provider Services Team, overseeing contracting, compensation, onboarding, and offboarding. + Provide comprehensive support to Saint Alphonsus Medical Group physicians and Advanced Practice Providers. + Collaborate with provider recruiting, HR, physician liaisons, and medical staff office personnel. Qualifications: + BA/BS with emphasis in Business, Finance, or Health Care Management. MBA preferred + Minimum of ten years of experience in contract administration and compensation modeling + Experience in the health care industry with physician contracting and compensation modeling + In depth understanding of regulatory requirements related to provider contracting. + Strong organizational and project management skills and experience + Minimum of five years of leadership experience as a director or above Skills and Knowledge: + In-depth understanding of regulatory requirements related to provider contracting. + Advanced data analysis and trend identification skills. + Proficiency in MS Office and ability to extract information from proprietary databases. + Ability to communicate complex payment methodologies in layman's terms. + Experience working in a multi-state, matrix leadership model. Essential Functions: + Incorporate and demonstrate the organization's mission, core values, and vision. + Analyze data to develop and communicate fact-based conclusions. + Manage the design, development, and implementation of new compensation programs. + Ensure timely and effective resolution of compensation issues. + Support the administration of physician contracts and APP offer letters. + Provide training on compensation programs to ensure understanding. + Communicate regularly with leadership about compliance concerns and compensation changes. + Manage staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation. + Promote educational opportunities and develop future leadership within the team. + Ensure compliance with federal, state, and safety regulations. + Present compensation models to leadership and negotiate with physicians. + Monitor provider productivity relative to compensation.
