Eli Lilly and Company seeks a Director, Parenteral Engineering (M2-2 - M3) to lead the process, automation, robotics, logistics, and systems administrator engineering group supporting asset delivery, process development, commissioning, qualification, validation, start-up, and on-going commercial production for the Parenteral area. Lead resource management and activity plan for 3- to 6-month horizon. Maintain metrics to measure performance against business objectives. Influence cross-functional collaboration through period of unprecedented growth. Develop and implement engineering strategies for continuous improvement, root cause analysis, and failure modes effect analysis. Interact with regulatory agencies during site inspections.

Position requires a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related engineering field, followed by 8 years of progressively responsible experience in process engineering and automation. Experience must include a minimum of: 5 years of experience with automated manufacturing equipment in a facility or area startup; 5 years of experience with combination products, device assembly, pharmaceutical packaging, automated visual inspection of filled units, drug product formulation, and filling in aseptic environment; 5 years of experience with equipment qualification and process validation; and 3 years of experience managing cross-functional groups. Part-time telecommuting permitted. Up to 20% domestic and international travel required.

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate's education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is

$183,239

Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
