Advertised Job Summary:

Director of Volleyball Operations/Technical Coordinator reports to Head Volleyball Coach and is responsible for overseeing all operations related to team travel, video tape exchange, office administration, facility scheduling, game operations and film break down. Will live stat matches and practice, maintain video equipment, prepare film for coaching staff for scouting and individual meetings Will also be responsible for scheduling and developing special projects as assigned by the Head Coach.

Job Related Minimum Required Education and Experience:

Requires a bachelor's degree in a job related field and 2 or more years of job related experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job related certification, training, education, and/or experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with college volleyball strongly preferred

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively organize and prioritize multiple tasks. Ability to think quickly and exercise good judgment while using discretion.

Job Duty:

Oversee and direct all aspects of team travel. Make team travel arrangements including transportation, accommodations and meals. Oversee and manage budget for travel and team meals. Maintain an organized travel record.

Tag and analyze live game statistics using volleyball specific software (i.e. VolleyStation, Volleymetrics, DataVolley, etc.). Create individual data sets for opponents' team point scoring plays. Communicate with coaches in real time opportunities for team to be successful at serve and offense. Provide rotational analysis of both teams. Upload video as required by SEC. Sync data sets with video for team use.

Translate statistics to coaches for application of line-ups and skill improvement. Collaborate with medical staff the breakdown of film to help evaluate player movement, drill development, return to play protocol, etc. to assist in the health and safety of the team and individual players. Maintain game and practice database for future use.
