Tarvos Talent is actively working with a large, publicly traded company on their search for a Director of Tax. This is a newly created position, with one of the fastest growing companies here in the U.S. The Director of Tax will be a highly visible role within the company, directly and indirectly managing a team of 8. The company is known for their dynamic working environment as well as stability. They have consistently grown, year after year, and senior leadership has actively fostered a collaborative and positive company culture. This position has a unique sell in that they would also be responsible for Treasury Cash Management duties. This is an opportunity for an experienced Global Tax Director to also gain Treasury experience and management.
The Director of Tax will be responsible for North America Tax compliance and reporting (U.S. and Canada). This includes: planning, analysis, and reporting. The Director of Tax will work to prepare quarterly and annual tax provisions and disclosures. Work with senior leadership on M&A tax implications and strategy. The Director of Tax will also own cash management, cash flow forecasting, intercompany treasury strategy and execution, as well as the overall capital structure.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's in Accounting or JD
- CPA
- At least 7 years of relevant experience in a mergers & acquisitions tax practice at a public accounting, law firm, or similar firm, and at least 4+ years of experience in US international tax (U.S. and Canada)
- Strong writing, analytical, research, excel, and organizational skills
- Strong communication, presentation, project management, and business development skills
- Strong sense of personal motivation as well as the ability to work with a team
