Director of Student Entrepreneurship & Innovation
Macalester College, a private liberal arts institution in St. Paul, Minnesota invites inquiries, nominations, and applications for its director of student entrepreneurship & innovation. This is an on-site leadership role.

Reporting to the associate vice president of life design and innovation, the director of student entrepreneurship & innovation provides strategic leadership for the Entrepreneurship and Innovation department, fostering a dynamic environment of innovation, creative thinking, curiosity, and experimentation. The director oversees and manages key programs and funding initiatives, including three full-time staff, the Idea Lab, Macathon, Mac Start-Ups, Live It Fund, Zia and Priti Fund for Innovation and Impact, and MacNest. Collaborates with faculty, staff, alumni, and community partners to cultivate an inclusive and vibrant culture of entrepreneurship and innovation that is accessible to all.
Qualifications
A bachelor's degree and five to eight years of experience in an entrepreneurial setting and higher education are required. Candidates should have experience in program development, budget management, staff management, and teaching. A master's degree is preferred.
