Director of Strategic Alliances

The Director of Strategic Alliances will be responsible for the development and ongoing management of both new and existing high-profile partner relationships for Amadeus' Hospitality business unit.

Responsibilities:

  1. Expand Amadeus value proposition through Partner agreements with high-profile industry players to reinforce the value of Amadeus solutions. This includes partner onboarding, commercial negotiations, contracting, and partner related escalations as well as negotiation/alignment with all internal stakeholders within Amadeus (Product, R&D, GTM, Marketing, and Commercial).
  2. Align with our Product, Legal, and Commercial teams to ensure contracts are up to date and drive the resolution of any outstanding commercial issues with the Partners.
  3. Attend required industry-related trade shows and premiere partner QBR events.
  4. Proactive member of the Partners team helping to reinforce our internal processes including (but not limited to) the marketplace activation, creation of alternative billing methods (e.g. transactional fees), unifying all legal contracts, use of one single CRM instance for all partner products and companies.
  5. Reporting to the Head of Partnerships Hospitality based in the United States.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Deep experience in The Hospitality Industry with an extensive network of contacts throughout The Supplier Portfolio
  • 5+ years leading teams
  • 5+ years of commercial or partnership roles
  • Contract negotiation, basics of product cycles, and commercial/marketing ways of working
  • Commercial, Law, or Business Development roles are required for this position. A mix of strategy and execution is paramount to move the partner discussions in the direction that is required by the team. MBA or MSC degrees are also good for this position as it requires a broad understanding of all parts of the organization to make sure that partners are negotiated properly for Amadeus.
