Your Role as Director of School Services: - Collaborate with Educational and Clinical Leadership: Work together to ensure compliance with Individualized Education Plans (IEP).
- Communicate with Parents: Maintain regular communication with parents and encourage their participation in the education and behavior plans.
- Coordinate Staff Training: Identify training needs and organize professional development opportunities to enhance staff skills.
- Participate in the IEP Process: Attend IEP meetings, work closely with the IEP team, and assist in the completion and preparation of IEP paperwork.
- Lead School Initiatives and Programs: Oversee the implementation of various school-wide initiatives and programs.
- Develop Parent and Community Programs: Create and lead programs to increase parent and community involvement.
- Engage in Professional Networking: Participate in networking activities to build relationships within school districts and the broader community.
- Manage Student Referrals and Admissions: Handle student referrals, admissions, and dis-enrollments in compliance with Pennsylvania regulations and New Story policies.
Required Qualifications: - Master's degree in Special Education, ABA, Social Work, or related: AND Board Certified Behavior Analyst ( BCBA) OR PA Special Education teaching certification
- At least two (2) years of experience serving in a lead position in an environment with children with learning and behavioral
challenges.
