Requirements

Director of Sales - Energy & Sustainable Solutions: As the Director of Sales - Energy & Sustainable Solutions, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth through the strategic sales execution of MacDonald-Miller's diverse energy and sustainability solutions. This role leads the development and acquisition of projects, while providing strategic direction in sales strategy, client acquisition, and customer experience.

Top deliverables in the first year to be a hero:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand market reach.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities within the energy and sustainability sectors.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Strengthen the company's position as an industry expert by representing the company at key events.
  • Oversee and align sales and business development activities with the company's financial objectives.

The Director of Sales - Energy & Sustainable Solutions reports to Maria Boyer, Vice President of Performance Contracting, and will play a key role in a collaborative team focused on driving a variety of projects and initiatives to support our growing business.

Your Background:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of proven experience in generating substantial sales pipeline and revenue within the energy and sustainability sectors.
  • In-depth knowledge of energy efficiency, decarbonization, and sustainability practices.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong strategic thinking abilities.
  • A robust network and industry knowledge.

  • Compensation: $170,000 to $200,000 base plus a generous variable compensation package based on sales.
