Position Overview

The Director of Sales leads a team of Sales Professionals, driving revenue growth, professional development, and customer satisfaction across an assigned territory. This role reports directly to the VP of Sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct strategic account planning with key customer accounts.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of business experience, with proven success managing high-performance sales teams.
  • Strong business and technical acumen with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to influence decisions across organizational levels.
  • High ethics, sound judgment, and active community engagement.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Leadership Responsibilities

  • Recruit, onboard, and develop new sales team members.
  • Set and monitor team metrics and individual goals.
  • Conduct quarterly performance reviews and team-building initiatives.
  • Lead team meetings and collaborate closely with executive leadership.
  • Manage team budget and maintain updated operating procedures.

Additional Requirements

  • Ability to travel locally between offices and client sites.
  • Compliance with the Drug-Free Workplace Act (federal contract standards apply).
  • Ability to sit at a computer for extended periods and occasionally lift light to moderate weight.
