This on-site leadership position offers an exciting opportunity to drive revenue growth, lead a high-performing sales team, and establish strong relationships within the local community, all while promoting luxury service offerings and food & beverage outlets.


Essential Duties:


• Develop and implement a strategic sales plan aligned with the property's revenue goals and market positioning


• Identify and pursue key market segments including corporate accounts, group bookings, travel agencies, and local partnerships


• Drive community engagement through events, promotions, and relationship-building with key local stakeholders


• Collaborate with food & beverage operations to promote on-site dining venues and attract group event business


• Guide and coach the sales team (including Sales Coordinator and Catering Sales Manager), setting goals and ensuring consistent performance


• Conduct site inspections, negotiate contracts, and manage long-term client relationships to encourage repeat business


• Analyze sales reports and trends to assess performance and adjust strategies accordingly


• Partner with Marketing and Revenue Management to craft competitive pricing, packages, and promotional campaigns


• Monitor industry and competitor trends to remain ahead of market shifts


• Serve as an integral part of the hotel's executive team and represent the property at community and industry events


Requirements/Skills:


• Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or equivalent experience


• Minimum 5 years of proven sales leadership experience in the hospitality industry


• Strong leadership and team development capabilities, with a servant-leadership mindset


• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills


• Familiarity with CRM systems and hospitality sales software


• Strong organizational and multitasking skills


• Knowledge of the Mobile, AL market and its business landscape preferred


• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends for events or client needs


Physical Requirements:


• Must be able to sit at a desk for up to 5 hours per day; standing and walking required throughout the remaining workday


• Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs. occasionally


• Requires manual dexterity to operate office equipment (e.g., computers, phones, fax machines)


• Must be able to walk property, attend events, and interact with guests in various settings


• May be exposed to varying indoor and outdoor temperatures, including brief periods in kitchens or storage areas


• Must be able to hear, see, speak, and physically navigate a hotel environment with ease
