Director of Sales
We are seeking an experienced Director of Sales to lead our growing sales team in the distribution space. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, building strong customer relationships, and leading a team of sales professionals to achieve revenue targets. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven ability to develop and implement sales processes, best practices, and market expansion strategies.
Responsibilities for the Director of Sales:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market share.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team, providing training and performance evaluations.
- Travel between locations as needed to support sales teams and strengthen client relationships.
- Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with key clients and partners to drive repeat business and customer loyalty.
- Oversee the development of promotional campaigns and sales materials to highlight company offerings and competitive advantages.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new business opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Manage the entire sales cycle, ensuring seamless coordination with internal departments for order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
- Analyze sales data and prepare reports with insights and recommendations to enhance sales performance.
Requirements of the Director of Sales:
- Proven track record of success in a Sales Leadership role with multi-location team management experience.
- 5 years of Sales Management experience, preferably within a distribution or wholesale environment.
- Strong ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans in a competitive market.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and data-driven sales analysis.
