The Opportunity:
We are seeking a dynamic Director of Sales to drive revenue, expand market presence, and lead a growing sales organization. This role is ideal for a hands-on sales leader who can bring an existing book of business, generate immediate results, and scale a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Revenue Generation: Activate existing client relationships to deliver immediate revenue across key sectors (commercial, fleet, municipal, utility, and others).
- Business Development: Identify and close new opportunities with installers, developers, fleet operators, and channel partners.
- Sales Leadership: Operate as a player-coach, with the goal of building and scaling a sales team over time.
- Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop and execute plans to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product, Operations, and Leadership to ensure alignment on market needs and sales initiatives.
- Market Intelligence: Track trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to help inform business strategy.
- Customer Success: Foster strong client relationships to drive repeat business and long-term loyalty.
What We're Looking For:
- 7+ years of experience in B2B sales, ideally within EV charging, energy, cleantech, or infrastructure sectors.
- Demonstrated success meeting and exceeding revenue goals.
- Existing industry relationships and a transferable book of business.
- Experience leading or building sales teams in high-growth environments.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
- Bachelor's degree preferred; industry certifications are a plus.
