The Opportunity
We are seeking an accomplished Director of Sales to join our executive leadership team and lead the build-out of our new sales and field marketing organization. This is a rare opportunity for a high-energy, entrepreneurial leader who is ready to build a legacy, not simply manage a pipeline.
The Director of Sales will play a pivotal role in guiding Big Country Exteriors toward aggressive revenue and market expansion goals, with full ownership of recruiting, training, process development, and strategic growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and Lead: Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales and field marketing team from the ground up.
- Architect Systems: Develop and implement formal sales strategies, pricing models, compensation plans, canvassing programs, appointment-setting processes, and sales workflows.
- Strategic Collaboration: Partner closely with executive leadership (reporting directly to the COO) on company-wide growth initiatives and expansion planning.
- Data-Driven Leadership: Manage operations using KPIs, CRM systems, financial analysis, and performance metrics to drive informed decision-making.
- Drive Accountability: Set clear sales targets, implement coaching frameworks, and foster a culture of discipline, performance, and teamwork.
- Marketing Partnership: Work collaboratively on marketing strategies, lead generation programs, and quarterly promotional initiatives to support aggressive growth objectives.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Industry Experience: 5+ years of one-call-close residential home improvement sales experience (Roofing, Siding, Windows, Doors, or One-Day Bath Remodeling strongly preferred).
- Sales Leadership: 3+ years of experience in a sales leadership, training, or mentorship role, with a proven track record of building and scaling successful teams.
- Proven Performance: Consistently strong personal and team sales results, with data-driven achievements.
- Canvassing Background: Early career experience in canvassing and field marketing is highly valued.
- Entrepreneurial Mindset: Thrives on building processes, scaling operations, and leading in a fast-paced, high-upside environment.
- Hands-On Leadership: Willing to roll up sleeves and lead from the front-not simply manage from a distance.
- Strategic Discipline: Committed to creating standardized, scalable processes-not operating with a "cowboy mentality."
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Proficient in leveraging financials, KPIs, and performance metrics to guide strategies and optimize outcomes.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
