The Position

1. The Director of Risk Management will oversee day-to-day risk management, quality, and compliance initiatives.
2. Oversee multiple specialty units, identify healthcare trends, and provide clinical and risk management guidance to ensure quality patient care.
3. Responsible for risk management and quality initiatives across urgent care and inpatient psych units.
4. Seeking an experienced, data-driven leader capable of managing initiatives across multiple campuses and implementing process improvements.
5. Ideal candidates are collaborative, capable of developing positive relationships, and leading onboarding and training initiatives.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree required.
2. Nursing and/or master's degree strongly preferred.
3. Active RN license strongly preferred.
4. Minimum of seven years of leadership experience, including at least five years of clinical experience.

The Organization

1. Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center, opening in April 2025, will be the first new full-service hospital in Washington D.C. in over 20 years.
2. With 136 beds and a $434 million budget, it will feature a 500-car garage, community space, and a helipad for emergency transports.
3. The hospital will include specialties such as maternal health, labor and delivery, ambulatory physician offices, trauma, and emergency care for both pediatric and adult patients.
4. It will be a teaching hospital in partnership with The George Washington University Hospital, integrating clinical care with local providers.
