The Position
- The Director of Risk Management will oversee day-to-day risk management, quality, and compliance initiatives.
- Oversee multiple specialty units, identify healthcare trends, and provide clinical and risk management guidance to ensure quality patient care.
- Responsible for risk management and quality initiatives across urgent care and inpatient psych units.
- Seeking an experienced, data-driven leader capable of managing initiatives across multiple campuses and implementing process improvements.
- Ideal candidates are collaborative, capable of developing positive relationships, and leading onboarding and training initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Nursing and/or master's degree strongly preferred.
- Active RN license strongly preferred.
- Minimum of seven years of leadership experience, including at least five years of clinical experience.
The Organization
- Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center, opening in April 2025, will be the first new full-service hospital in Washington D.C. in over 20 years.
- With 136 beds and a $434 million budget, it will feature a 500-car garage, community space, and a helipad for emergency transports.
- The hospital will include specialties such as maternal health, labor and delivery, ambulatory physician offices, trauma, and emergency care for both pediatric and adult patients.
- It will be a teaching hospital in partnership with The George Washington University Hospital, integrating clinical care with local providers.
