Senior Director of Sales - Retail Channels
A leading manufacturer is hiring a Senior Director of Sales to drive growth across branded and private label products in the Grocery, Drug, Value, and Farm & Agricultural retail channels.
This is a high-impact, onsite leadership role focused on strategic sales execution, customer relationship development, and cross-functional alignment. The ideal candidate is both a visionary leader and a hands-on operator who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Based onsite in Wisconsin Travel up to 60% required
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead retail sales strategy and execution across multiple retail channels
- Build and manage top retail relationships to drive profitable growth
- Develop and mentor a high-performing sales team
- Partner with Marketing on trade and promotional planning
- Own P&L, forecasting, and business performance metrics
- Lead Integrated Business Planning (IBP) initiatives
- Expand market share through strategic customer partnerships
Qualifications:
- 5+ years in sales leadership with team management experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
- Proven success in Grocery, Drug, or Value channels
- Strong promotional planning and financial acumen (P&L ownership)
- Experience with cross-functional planning (IBP or equivalent)
- Entrepreneurial, collaborative, and execution-focused
