Our esteemed organization is seeking an experienced and passionate Director of Quality for our Cosmetics Manufacturing division. This is an exceptional opportunity for a dynamic professional to lead and drive the quality function and make a significant impact on our company's performance. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of our cosmetic products, meeting all regulatory requirements, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This position requires an individual with a strong background in CADHA, Over the Counter (OTC) products, and a deep understanding of the cosmetics manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop, implement and manage quality control systems designed to ensure continuous production of advanced cosmetic products consistent with established standards, customer specifications and production goals.
2. Supervise a team of quality control specialists, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, cross-training, and teamwork.
3. Coordinate and support on-site audits conducted by external providers and regulatory bodies.
4. Investigate customer complaints regarding quality, utilizing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
5. Oversee the management of all Over the Counter (OTC) products, ensuring full compliance with all regulatory requirements.
6. Utilize CADHA to design and implement quality control systems and processes.
7. Develop and analyze statistical data and product specifications to determine present standards and establish proposed quality and reliability expectancy.
8. Formulate, document and maintain quality control standards and on-going quality control objectives.
9. Provide technical and statistical expertise to teams and participate in the review of product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, and customer contract requirements, and related specifications.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related field. An advanced degree or professional certification is preferred.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior quality role within the cosmetics manufacturing industry.
3. Solid experience with CADHA, Over the Counter (OTC) products, and other relevant quality systems and tools.
4. Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality standards in the cosmetics industry.
5. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a high-performing team.
6. Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a strong focus on continuous improvement.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of the organization and with external stakeholders.
8. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
9. Strong analytical and statistical skills, with the ability to use data to drive decision making and improvements.
